On that occasion, Ćorić introduced Matićeva to the fact that Srpska is making an organized appearance at this event for the 12th time.
The director of the company "Vendom" from Laktaši, Sandra Đukanović, said that the goal of that company, which produces modern emptying systems, is to present itself in Serbia and conquer this market as well.
- It would be in our interest if there were containers like this on the streets of Belgrade, like in Salzburg, Switzerland, but also here - said Đukanović.
Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of Republic of Srpska Vjekoslav Petričević said today that it is of great importance that companies from Republic of Srpska have the opportunity to present themselves at the International Fair of Technology and Technical Achievements and connect with partners from the region and Europe.
Petričević pointed out that the Government of the Republic of Srpska recognized the importance of technological development for the economy, and that this year's budget allocated 12 million KM for subsidies in this area.
- We expect the realization of those projects. With the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Srpska, we work with businessmen to modernize our economy and make it more competitive in order to meet the demands of the domestic and world markets. So we have the opportunity to see innovations from various fields and to present our companies in places like this - said Petričević.
Mladen Stojanović, acting director of the Air Force Institute "Orao" from Bijeljina, stated that this company is traditionally present at this event, and is also a partner of the Armaments and Military Equipment Fair.
- Among the exhibitors are a large number of our customers and suppliers. It is an opportunity to meet with them, to exchange information and to see what is contemporary and new. We are here and we will be - said Stojanović.
He reminded that "Orao" has existed for 78 years, and that it previously cooperated with the Ministry of Defense of the SFRY, and now Serbia.
- We are the main support for the Serbian Air Force for the provision of aviation engine resources. Of course, we used to be the Military Post, now we are a joint-stock company, we are open to cooperation and 50 percent of our income is achieved through cooperation, i.e. by doing work for the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, the other 50 percent we find on the world market - Stojanović said.
Head of the Representation of the Republic of Srpska in Serbia, Mlađen Cicović, assessed that the performance of companies from Srpska at this year's Fair is particularly significant, bearing in mind the global economic situation in the world.
- I think that this is an extremely important representation of the Republic of Srpska, that the Republic of Srpska is catching up with science and technology, to try to overcome all the problems and challenges it faces in this difficult economic situation that has been imposed on us. I think we will present ourselves very well - said Cicović.
The fair lasts until May 27.
