Vendom is a leading manufacturer of waste containers and has established itself as one of the largest exporters in Bosnia and Herzegovina in recent years. The company has been collaborating with Swiss partners for two decades, and today the Swiss Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gabriel Derighetti, visited the company.
The significance of Vendom as a company and partner for the Swiss economy is further underscored by the fact that the Swiss Ambassador traveled to Veliko Blaško specifically to tour the company’s production facilities.
“Everything that Vendom’s director, Sandra Đukanović, accomplishes together with her partners is admirable. As an ambassador, I frequently visit places that represent a link between our countries – such as the private sector today,” said Derighetti.
Years of production optimization
Vendom has continuously modernized its production facilities over the years, elevating its business to a higher level. The culmination of this development is the long-standing partnership with Villiger Entsorgung System, whose representatives regularly visit the company. Together, they have developed efficient waste collection systems.
Vendom’s Director, Sandra Đukanović, emphasized her pride that the Swiss Ambassador had visited the company to familiarize himself with its production methods and learn about the resources it has at its disposal.
She highlighted that the visit was the result of the long-standing and successful collaboration between Vendom and Villiger Entsorgung System, whose representatives are regularly present at the site.
During the tour, the ambassador explained that companies like “Vendom” best represent Bosnia and Herzegovina and that Switzerland will always support entrepreneurs who contribute to the progress of the country.
“We started as a supplier and have now reached a partnership level. We are among the largest exporters from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Switzerland. That’s precisely why we always have the support of our partner. I am proud of the support from the Swiss Embassy,” explained Đukanović.
Paul Villiger, owner of the company “Villiger Entsorgung System,” confirmed that the Swiss partners are also very satisfied with the collaboration.
“I am very pleased with the quality of Vendom’s products, which are exported worldwide, and I am proud that we have developed an exceptional partnership,” said Villiger. Vendom received an award for its innovative waste disposal system, thanks to its recognized quality and the development of a domestic product.

A crane system that is controlled automatically or by artificial intelligence shortens collection times and reduces the costs of emptying containers.
